AutoLink32 a 32 Bit Windows compatible software package that automatically downloads serial data from Mercury Instruments electronic recorders and volume correctors. The remote instruments are assigned to a Polling Group containing any combination of instrument types. After the user specifies the time (or interval) to begin a group download, AutoLink32 controls host modem dial-out and data transfer. Data storage incorporates a Microsoft Access 97 database. At the completion of a polling session, the date and time for the next polling session is automatically updated. AutoLink32 supports up to four independent com ports (modems), permitting simultaneous downloading of four instruments. If more than four host modems are desired, the addition of a digi-board is required.
