MI Wireless Solar Solutions are a convenient way to power your communications devices for long unattended periods of time. A solar controller and battery charger facilitates proper charging of a rechargeable battery. The solar power enclosure, with or without integral instrument and communications, can be selected Class 1 Div 2 certified.
A gas-powered thermo-electric charger can meet your power needs. Sized to meet the needs of your application, the thermo-electric charger is mounted outside the electronics enclosure and provides DC power to the equipment and charges a backup battery. The thermo-electric generator power source is available Class 1 Div 2 certified.
For locations where AC power is unavailable and solar power is impractical, a dual alkaline pack power source can provide the power you need for your instrument and communications applications. To conserve battery life, a controller is available to turn power off to the communications device when not in use. Alarm call-out is still available at any time, as well as scheduled call-in to the remote device.
